Great Spangled Frittillaries share the landscape of Buddleia.
Far away from Flower Hill Farm an enchanting city nourishes a friendship
before only known through the virtual world.
Endearment abides as we take in the nectar of Venice.
Venetian intrigue with the delightful and dear Hattatts!

Hello Dearest Carol:
How wonderful it has been, rather in the manner of the butterflies who wing their ways through the glories of Flower Hill Farm, that chance or fate should have brought the three of us together in such true friendship and in such a magical city as that of Venice. What fun, and intrigue, we have had, will have again next week, and, most certainly, in the years which are to come both here in Europe and across the Atlantic in the United States. This is just the beginning!
Carol,
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! These fritillary photos remind me of the times I saw lots of them everywhere. Now in recent years a handful of them is the norm.
WOW three at once i wish i could see a "glf" coast frillwey here.but I never have
Beautiful Photos . Have a good day !
Wonderful photos as always Carol. That first one is fantastic with that top butterfly coming in for a landing.
We enjoy Gulf Fritillary butterflies down here in s.e. FL.
Venice is such a beautiful city. We have lovely memories from when we were there in 1973.
It was good to see a post of yours.
Love and hugs to you ~ FlowerLady

Just by chance—would she? could she?—I checked your site. How wonderful for you to tie three fritillaries with you and the Hattatts. Sheer poetry! (But I must read between the lines for now.)
How much fun to be in Venice with friends! Lucky you!
Hello, CAROL.
The pretty of the butterfly is very peaceful.
My heart is healed.
The love of the couple will be brought up by long time.
It may be completely life itself.
Thank you. A good day.
